Thank you to all players, coaches, families, officials, and volunteers who joined us for the 24th ANNUAL NOVA Fall Brawl for boys and girls across youth and high school divisions. Your energy and support created another amazing weekend of Northern Virginia lacrosse.

Fall Brawl has always been about fun, friendships, and respect for the game. If you left the fields feeling like you had fun, your team and families grew a little closer, and you honored the game, then you had a great Fall Brawl. That spirit is what has kept this event going for twenty four years.

Beltway Lacrosse and LaxNOVA Events Announce Partnership

Keeping Lacrosse FUN in the DC-Metro Area

We’re excited to announce a new partnership between Beltway Lacrosse and LaxNOVA Events, uniting two organizations committed to growing the game and creating fun, meaningful lacrosse experiences in Northern Virginia.

Beltway Lacrosse is Northern Virginia’s go-to for off-season leagues — youth and adult, boys and girls, in field, box, and sixes formats. LaxNOVA Events has been the region’s standard for over 20 years of off-season tournaments, built on camaraderie, competition, and community.

Together, we aim to bring even more opportunities to players, families, and fans across the area. Look for Beltway’s fun on-site activities between games at this year’s Fall Brawl as the first step in this exciting collaboration.

At LaxNOVA Events, our mission is to support the Northern Virginia lacrosse community by providing high-quality, local events designed specifically for Recreational and High School teams. Our focus is on creating opportunities that help teams, coaches, and players develop their skills, grow the game, and build camaraderie. We believe that competition is more than just a game—it’s a tool for learning, improving, and strengthening the bonds that make lacrosse special. Most importantly, we believe in our motto:

Our annual events serve as valuable tools for teams to prepare for their seasons:

NOVA Fall Brawl 7v7 Tournament – An annual tradition since 2002, this fast-paced, small-sided tournament is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together players as young as six through high school. The 7v7 format promotes quick decision-making, increased touches, and a fun, competitive environment where developing players can learn from experienced athletes. For many, the Fall Brawl is a rite of passage, marking the start of their lacrosse journey and continuing through high school graduation.
Winter Thaw Play Day – The final off-season event before the spring season kicks off, Winter Thaw is a critical tune-up for high school teams and players looking to refine their game before tryouts and competition. It’s an opportunity for younger athletes to showcase their progress and for teams to strengthen their chemistry before the season begins.

At LaxNOVA Events, we are committed to supporting local lacrosse by providing structured, well-organized events that enhance player development and team success.

As a thank you to the community, we always provide complimentary event photography at each tournament, ensuring that players, families, and teams can relive and share their favorite moments free of charge.
